ADMISSION REQUIREMENT:

Applicants must meet the “General Admission Requirements, Parts 1 & 2” prior to meeting the “Specific Admission Requirements” for the programme they wish to enter.

Specific Admission Requirements

The student’s entrance requirements are based on the following condition and categories:

Category A: Direct Entry (Form VI graduates)

Applicants eligible for direct admission to the degree programme must have earned:

  • A certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with credit level passes in three subjects, obtained prior to sitting for the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSEE), and
  • An advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least two principal passes and a total of 4.5 or more points

Category B: Equivalent Qualifications (Diploma holders)

  • Candidates who earned a Diploma from an accredited school of tourism or related industry and must have obtained three credits or five passes in a certificate of Secondary Education Examination

Category C: Entrance Examination Qualifications

  • A certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with credit level passes in three subjects, obtained prior to sitting for the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSEE), and
  • Applicants who have at least two principal passes, but have less than 4.5 total points in the ACSEE must undertake pre entry remedial course of six weeks and pass an Examination thereafter.
